MicroAutomation is looking for 911 Systems Engineers (SE) to provide technical assistance to our Crystal City, VA based Government client. Responsibilities include the design, delivery, and sustainment of our NG911 solution. Additionally, the SE will assist in resolving client and server application issues, troubleshooting network or telephony issues, and configuration of client and server operating systems within a VM infrastructure to provide immediate support to the customer. Complex problems that require nuanced instruction shall be escalated to higher tier support teams. This position will be required to commute to a secure Government location and will be deemed on call for onsite support, if needed, at that location with other similar staff outside of normal working hours.
In this position, you will aggressively prospect, develop, and manage new public safety accounts. You will be responsible for driving new business development and converting prospective clients into customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers while developing client and partner referrals.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing

We develop some of our own applications and products, and develop solutions using other industry-leading products and technologies.
In this critical role the successful candidate will have the responsibility for selling contact center technology solutions to enterprise customers. This includes developing leads from initial point of contact to ultimate decision makers – both self-generated leads and from leads generated as a result of the company’s marketing strategies and partner relationships. For each qualified lead, it is expected that you will be able to develop a relevant value proposition, present the company’s available solutions, and drive the opportunity to close. In order to be successful, you will need to effectively leverage the company’s technical resources and subject matter experts to bring the full capability of the company to bear. This is a sales hunter position with key performance metrics including prospect calls, qualified meetings and pipeline development.
